Sun stained stairs of shells
Strain toward the ocean
Twinkle sparks of life
From earth's own lotion.

Pink pelicans fly
On silver rails
Turn into the sea
By the earth's own sails.

Wayward waves splash home
Soaking in the sand
The earth's own tear drops
Gives life to the land.

Trapped by its wrapping
Run down rusty luck
Settled solitude
Gathers rusty dust.
