GARDEN OF ROSES In my garden there are roses And they all reflect different shades The best ones are multicolored With density their petals lay. A mix of white and burgundy Growing beauty out of its stem Their leaves unfolding color Some with half inch thorns to defend. On a fence growing through the vine One set is whiter than the clouds The next one might be lavender And the yellow ones make me proud. There is one bush that keeps blooming Huge white roses all year around But none of this beauty compares To the instant I hear your sound. CHORUS In my garden of roses I pick a flower for truth All this natural beauty Is what is inside of you. Inside my gate there is a hedge And when the sun delivers spring One thousand roses start to bloom In three inch stems of vibrant pink. In my garden there are roses I haven't mentioned the red ones But they all pale to your color When your skin is touched by the sun.
